Position Overview:
Join our award-winning team as a Cloud Network Operations Administrator, where you will be at the forefront of managing and optimizing our cloud network infrastructure under a digital environment initiative. This pivotal role ensures the seamless operation, security, and performance of our multi-cloud environments, directly supporting the agency's critical digital operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Network Management: Oversee the administration, configuration, and monitoring of cloud network infrastructures across platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Microsoft 365.
  • Performance Optimization: Continuously monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement proactive measures to ensure optimal system operation.
  • Security & Compliance: Enforce robust security protocols, ensure compliance with Federal IT standards, and work closely with our cybersecurity team to manage incident response.
  • Collaboration & Integration: Work within an integrated, cross-functional team that spans Help Desk, Cybersecurity, and Strategic IT Initiatives—demonstrating our unified approach to service delivery.
  • Process Improvement: Utilize Infrastructure-as-Code practices and automation tools to streamline network configurations and maintain high operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
  • Demonstrated experience (typically 5+ years) in cloud network operations within complex, multi-cloud environments.
  • Strong proficiency with AWS, Azure, and cloud network management tools.
  • In-depth understanding of network security principles and Federal IT compliance standards.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a proven track record of working effectively in integrated, collaborative teams.
  • Ability to obtain or maintain a Federal security clearance as required.
Certifications:
• AWS or Azure Cloud certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Network Engineer
• CompTIA Certified – Network+ Server + Cloud+
• ITIL Foundation Certification
